This course is for those who are ready to go deeper in their journeys as healers, their commitment as teachers and as channels of light and healing.  This six day Reiki Masters intensive retreat gives students the opportunity to focus their studies in the gentle beauty of Ojai, CA.

THE TOPA INSTITUTE, OJAI

The Topa Institute, formerly known as the Ojai Foundation, is a retreat center set atop a tranquil, awe-inspiring ridge in the Topatopa Mountains where we will gather for our daily practice. The 36-acre land sanctuary located in the Upper Ojai Valley, California — the historical home of Indigenous people devoted to creative practices in art, agriculture, and wisdom. At Dragon Ridge Land Sanctuary, we honor and continue this work through our land-based offers such as permaculture, nature immersion, and Indigenous wisdom.

Ojai’s charms and natural beauty will welcome you and hold space for your transformation. Located about 1.5 hours north of Los Angeles and an hour south of Santa Barbara, Ojai is nestled in the majestic mountains just 12 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. Ojai is a small community filled with natural beauty, spiritual wisdom + the arts. It is a perfect place to deepen your connection to the vibrations of unconditional love and the path of self-mastery.

SERENE LUXURY OJAI FARMHOUSE

As Ojai Valley has become more and more of a popular destination for many, and late summer/ early autumn is considered “wedding season“, hotels and Airbnbs book out ahead of time. This is why we booked this beautiful, luxurious sanctuary with eight beds available for students who like to enjoy their free time within Reiki community and in this magical nature abode.

Enjoying 110 acres along the foothills of the Topa Topa Mountains, this secluded Spanish-style ranch is one of very few available for rent in the Ojai Valley. Spread between a massive 3-bedroom main house, a 4-bedroom guest house, and an inspiring art studio, this exclusive vacation rental has limitless space to wander, connect with nature, and enjoy the laid-back Ojai lifestyle. In celebration of its beautiful surroundings, including lush fruit trees and sweeping mountain views, this entire estate is serviced by a well.

Two private king rooms, four private queen rooms, and one shared twin room are available for a total of eight guests on a first come first serve basis.

About Lara

Influenced by a prior career with some of NewYork’s most influential fashion labels like Apiece Apart, No.6 and Rachel Comey, Lara found that a creative practice was a means to tap into inner wisdom, intuition and a higher spiritual path. During a decade of working and then studying inNew York City, Lara noticed the epidemic of stress related dis-ease, anxiety, and emotional stress and how those mental states manifest in the physical body.

Lara Elliott is a Holistic and Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner and Meditation Teacher based in Ojai, California. Trained as an Acupuncturist and Herbalist, Lara has gone through two Master degree programs in Chinese Medicine beginning her academic Chinese Medicine studies in NYC 2011.

Lara finds deep resonance in Buddhist teachings and employs a variety of Eastern and Western modalities including traditional Japanese Healing System of Reiki, Breathwork, CranioSacraltherapy, Herbology, guided Mindfulness andMeditation, and Holistic Health Coaching. With over a decade of practicing various healing arts modalities, she supports her clients to address physical and emotional dis-ease and imbalance in mind and body.

Lara is a Reiki Master and has been sharing theJapanese System of Reiki for six years with students and practitioners from all over the world, in Trainings hosted in Southern California as well as online.

Lara is know for her Holistic Healing practice skillfully, creatively and uniquely integrating elements of:

  • Yes, the prerequisite to attend this training is completion of Reiki 1 and 2 training programs. Please reach out to Lara if you have any questions about this.
