Reiki can be translated directly as 'Universal Life Energy.' It is a balancing, intelligent, and harmonizing energy with the ability to facilitate healing on all levels: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
Reiki is a potent healing modality for individuals interested in, or currently engaged in, a field of healing. Reiki is equally beneficial for those who regularly interact with people, including healthcare professionals, doulas, educators, yoga instructors, as well as friends and family members.

In this comprehensive two and a half-day Reiki 1 workshop, you will gain knowledge of the following aspects: the historical background of Reiki, the foundational Reiki Principles, Gassho (bringing hands together in prayer), proper hand placements for treating both yourself and others, the fundamental healing techniques, and effective methods for working with clients.
You will receive the Level one Reiki attunements, which will be permanently integrated into your being. These attunements and training are passed down in the lineage of Dr. Usui Shiki Ryoho, ensuring their authenticity and connection to the original Reiki tradition.

OKUDEN
REIKI 2-
In this class, students will delve deeper into their Reiki studies, as they are introduced to the Reiki symbols, mantras, and distance healing. Okuden will involve a more comprehensive exploration of the five elements within the Reiki system.
The course will also cover the following topics:
- Kokyû hô: Students will learn kokyû hô techniques suitable for this level, enhancing their ability to generate energy.
- Jumon and Shirushi: Students will acquire knowledge of three jumon and three shirushi, which aid in focusing Ki and attuning to the appropriate energies.
- Reiju: Each student will receive reiju, which fosters an energetic connection and further development.To enroll in this course, Shoden or Reiki 1 is a prerequisite.

REIKI MASTERS-

This five and a half-day Reiki Masters intensive course offers students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the serene setting of Ojai, CA. Here, you will strengthen your connection to the profound vibrations of unconditional love and the path of self-mastery. This course is designed for individuals who are prepared to delve deeper into their roles as healers, and expand their commitment as teachers. This voyage is a fusion of light, healing, teaching, and service, offering a path to personal and professional growth.Prospective students are required to have successfully completed both Reiki 1 & 2. They will also need to undergo an intake interview with Lara to ensure that thecourse is a suitable fit for them.

The tuition for this comprehensive 5-day retreat intensive is $2200, excluding accommodation costs. Here are some important details:
- A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required upon registration. This deposit can be used as a credit towards a future training.
- The group size is intentionally kept intimate.
- Overnight accommodations are not included in the tuition fee. Ojai Valley offers a variety of accommodation options, including affordable yurt-style accommodations at the Topa Institute.
